Innovation In The Dam 2013
- Amsterdam, Netherlands
- 22-24 November 2013
The full spectrum Drum & Bass festival
Taking over 2 prestigious super clubs in Amsterdam, Innovation In The Dam is the ultimate weekender for lovers of Drum n Bass tunes and, of course, the infamous entertainment on offer in the capital city of the Netherlands.
Fears arose when Amsterdam council were planning to ban non-Netherlands natives from local coffee shops but with these plans now abandoned, Innovation In The Dam is going to be one hell of a celebration, especially as local coffee shop The Bulldog is once again chosen as the daily meetup point for festival revellers.
Imagine exploring the canals by day, visiting coffee shops, museums or the infamous red light district in the evening, followed by a night of raving to the drum and bass sounds of Friction, Danny Byrd and Hype inside Melkweg and The Sand - two of Amsterdam's WILDEST night clubs.
Get in quick though, surely you'd rather experience it for yourself rather than have to hear about what you missed!

The Sand and Melkweg nightclubs are just around 10 minutes away via tram from Amsterdam Centraal Station, which itself is around 40 minutes by train from Amsterdam Schipol Airport depending on what time you land. The Sand has a main room and a first floor with a balcony as well, whereas the Melkweg is a huge cultural centre that when not used for the festival hosts theatre, films, events and much more in the arts.
It's important to remember that while Innovation In The Dam work with the clubs, they have no involvement with security decisions at the nightclubs, so it's best to research the venues before you attend.
Of the two super clubs, VIP tickets are available at The Sand, where VIP passes entitle you to the following:
- Queue Jump
- Entry to VIP balcony and bar overlook the stage
- A separate intimate atmosphere, only 150 allowed
Visit The Bulldog bar and coffee shop as Innovation attendees get a voucher with a free shot, visit the famous museums, rent a bike, travel through the canals on a boat and if you are really brave go and visit the Red Light District.
