Upping the ante for a third time
Instytut Festival Music & Art is a techno festival, held within the walls of 19th-century Modlin Garrison near Warsaw, Poland.
Returning for a third successive year, the Polish techno brand has created an institution of electronic music in it's short tenure as a musical festival, their reputation solidified by it's imposing setting and equally imperious lineups; Richie Hawtin, Nina Kraviz, Chris Liebing, and Ben Klock have all joined the party in recent editions.
Modlin Garrison will host three unique stages, showing off Instytut's unique passion for techno with state-of-the-art visual and sonic production to accompany a truly remarkable setting. The Main Stage and Rave Stage will once again provide a bulk of audio-visual nourishment in 2020, but the next edition will see the launch of New Moon Stage upon the Garrison Terrace, offering a mesmeric, panoramic view of the nearby Vistula River and Warsaw skyline whilst you dance until the early hours.
With over two decades of industry know-how, Instytut raves have seen loyal followers flock from all corners of Europe, and judging by the increasing success of their own festival, they'll continue to do so.
Modlin Garrison is one of Poland's largest 19th-century fortresses, and is also the longest building in Europe.

Shuttle buses will run from the Młociny metro station (M1 line running until 2:50 from Centrum station) to Modlin, a dedicated service for festival participants in cooperation with the City Hall Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki.
Convenient accommodation options for staying at the festival town including hotels and glamping will be offered soon.
Garnizon Modlin (The Modlin Garrison) is unique on a global scale – the longest building in Europe and the second largest in the world.
The spectacular fortress is located in the very heart of Poland, at the confluence of two rivers: the Vistula and the Narew, in the immediate vicinity of picturesque sandy beaches hidden among forests and the phenomenal ruins of a historic granary. The Garrison is also over 200 years of turbulent history. The Poles, the French, Russians and Germans fought for this pearl of Napoleon and Tsar Nicholas I.
After years of peace, in June 2020 the Garrison will survive another siege, this time by the fans of electrifying sounds during the forthcoming INSTYTUT Festival.
