Recognising the roots
Held annually in the Italian city of Turin, Jazz:Re:Found is an electric music festival that celebrates the lasting legacy of jazz and its influence on a diverse array of modern genres.
From DJs plays sets that cover house, disco, funk, soul, broken beat, drum & bass, hip-hop and RnB to generation spanning live performers, the lineup is a deliberate reflection of the enduring jazz mindset and approach to creativity.
From Gilles Peterson, Four Tet and Mr. Scruff to Roy Ayers, Tony Allen and Ludovico Einaudi, the festival can boast and impressive and diverse roster of past performers.
The lineup for 2018 has not been announced yet. Last year it included Motor City Drum Ensemble, Goldie, Roni Size, Tama Sumo and more.
The festival takes place in a number of venues across the city of Turin.

BY PLANE: Turin is served by an international airport approximately 10 miles north-east of the city centre. From here a train or bus will take you to in to the city.
BY TRAIN: Turin is well connected by high speed rail to most major Italian cities, including Milan, Rome, Florence, Pisa, Verona, Naples and more.
