The 2017 edition of Kingshouse Festival has been cancelled. There has been no word on whether the festival will return next year.
Kingshouse Festival is a dance music festival in celebration of the King's birthday in Utrecht, Netherlands. The biggest names in Dutch EDM, progressive house and hardstyle join forces with DJs from across the world, as the whole country turns into a sea of orange for one very special day.
Themed stage design and top-level visual production make it a party to remember, with the local party atmosphere going into overdrive. If you've never been to King's Day, it's an experience best served with a dose of classic Dutch electronic music.
2016's edition included Dannic, Fedde Le Grand, Martin Solveig, Pep & Rash and many more.
In the heart of the city, Jaarbeurs Utrecht is a year-round event space that has made dance music one of its specialities. Utrecht Centraal station is right next door.
BY PLANE: Amsterdam Schiphol is the nearest international airport to Utrecht, and is both a 30 minute train or taxi journey away. We do however recommend you get a train into Utrecht Central Station as taxis can cost up to €130, and trains leave roughly every 15 minutes so are very regular.
BY TRAIN: Utrecht Central Station is in the heart of the Netherlands, and is therefore easily reachable from all over the country.
BY BUS: The city's main bus station is directly next door to Central Station, welcoming services from all over the country and also from nearby cities such as Nieuwegein and Ijsselstein.
Both the train and bus station are within a 5 minute walk of the venue. Simply follow the signs for Jaarbeursplein.
