Make the walls shake
Les Nuits de la Filature returns to the north of France in March for another two-day showcase of underground electronic music talent in Saint-André-lez-Lille.
Taking its name from the former textile factory turned events space in which it is held – Les Halls de la Filature – the relative newcomer to France's house and techno scene can already boast an impressive pedigree of past performers, both from the vibrant national scene and from across Europe (and beyond).
Across two nights in this once industrial setting, for seven hours at a time, the festival invites ravers to come together and dance to a beguiling mix of electronic music styles.
Formerly a textiles factory, Les Halls de la Filature in the north of Lille now plays host to exhibitions, conventions and cultural events across the year.
