Music superstars make their way to Germany

Lollapalooza Berlin is a spectacular two-day music festival in the German capital. Part of the iconic global brand, the Berlin edition was the first to be held in Europe after years of partying in the States and expansion into South America, and since 2015 it has seen countless music superstars make their way to Germany.

As is to be expected from the name, these superstars have come from a diverse mix of musical genres and eras, from New Order to Foo Fighters to Major Lazer. The lineup also has plenty of room for exciting new talent, both from Germany and from further afield, with something on the bill for all manner of music fans.

Treptower Park is a park alongside the river Spree, south-east of central Berlin. In 1987 it hosted the first ever concert by a western band in East Germany.

Treptower Park, Berlin, 12435, Germany

Berlin Tegel Airport is the city's closest international airport. From here, the city centre is just 20 minutes away by bus. If you are flying into Berlin Schönefeld Airport, then the journey will take around 25 minutes by train.

The city also has good rail links with the rest of Germany and neighbouring Europe.

Once in the city, bus numbers 165 and 265 will take you to outside Treptower Park. It is also possible to get the S-Bahn to Treptower Park.

Yes, absolutely. As long as those under 16 are accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times, there is even a whole Kidzpalooza section dedicated to young festivals fans aged 0 to 14.
