Inspired by the Roland TR-909 rhythm machine, Loveland 909 is a one-stage intimate techno event in the Amsterdam Forest.

Off the back of three successful years, 909 will keep putting the music at the centre of its ethos, allowing festival-goers to totally immerse themselves with the sole artist on stage.

Set beside a lake and surrounded by trees, 909 is secluded and bliss, only punctuated with the sound of the finest techno and pedalos on the lake.

Part of the repertoire of original Dutch promoters Loveland, 909 is consistently bang on the money, producing top handpicked lineups in perfect surroundings.

This year will be no different.

Amsterdamse Bos is a large park just outside of the city. However, unlike most parks, this one was artificially created on unused wetlands prior to opening in 1937, but has since evolved into a woodland with an array of sports and leisure facilities inside.

FAQs

BY PLANE: Amstedam's main airport is Schipol International Airport, which is a short 20 minute train ride into the city's central station.

BY TRAIN: Amsterdam's central station (Amsterdam Centraal) is accessible on many national railway lines.

BY BUS: From Centraal Station, use either bus no. 170 or 172 towards Uithoorn and Kudelstaart respectively, and get off at Koenenkade which is within walking distance from the festival site. From there, simply follow the signs. When travelling at night, use bus no. 97.

TAXI: There is a taxi stand near the entrance to the festival, however a taxi into the centre could cost you up to €50.

BY CAR: Parking space is limited, but to ensure you have a space you need to buy a ticket prior to arriving. You can do so from here. When driving, take the exit VU/Buitenveldert (S108) on A10 south and follow signs to Amsterdamse Bos and then the festival itself.

There will be lockers on site to store away items you don't fancy carrying around with you.

You must be at least 18 to be allowed in.

Unfortunately not, however you can hire pedalos to ride on the lake.
