Taylor Swift brings glitter, sunsets, and festivals to a new level this summer
Taylor Swift hasn't played a music festival since 2009, when she was only 20 years old, and with the release of her newest album Lover, Swift plans to take the festival concept to a whole new level. She is playing some music festivals in Europe and then heading to The States to top off her tour with Lover Fest - an original Taylor Swift music festival - and it's no surprise she's ending it in the Northeast where she originally grew up, at Gillette Stadium, in which she's done headline shows at since 2010.
Taylor Swift concerts aren't just shows; they're spectacles. Whether it be watching an exclusive video introducing one of her songs, watching her soar across the stadium in a flying castle, or watching her sing the saddest song of the night (notoriously the 5th track on each album) solo on piano, you won't be able to look away.
Swift revealed on Instagram that, to her, Lover is "open fields and sunsets and SUMMER" and that she wants to make Lover Fest emulate that feeling. Surprises are guaranteed, but one thing's for sure: you will cry, you will laugh, and if you didn't already love Swift, you will leave this festival feeling starry-eyed, converted to a new religion made up of glitter and love.
Swift has played Gillette Stadium, right outside of Boston, at every tour since her Fearless tour in 2010.

Gillette Stadium is easily accessible via train or car from Boston.
All ages are welcome! In fact, sticking with the album's theme of acceptance and love, everybody is welcome!
