The festival's eponymous mountains are the Rhodopes, which straddle the border between Bulgaria and Greece. The spectacular mountain range is home to forests, gorges, rivers, caves and a number of communities.

FAQs

Plovdiv is the closest airport, the festival will run shuttle buses from here as well as from Sofia Airport. These will need to be pre-booked in advance.

 

This is an 18+ festival. Bring ID to ensure entry. 

Being located at the top of a mountain, disabled access is severely limited.
