Where old meets new

MOGA is an electronic music festival held in the Moroccan port city of Essaouira, returning in 2018 after last year's postponement.

Playing perfectly on the juxtaposition between old and new, the festival combines a program of forward-thinking electronic music with the traditional culture of the region, including Gnawa music, dance, art and a series of exhibitions, talks and film screenings.

Made famous recently as a filming location for Game of Thrones, Essaouira is a fascinating and vibrant historical city complete with fortress walls, harbours and hidden alleys ripe for exploration by music fans from all over the world.
