Mixing a traditional Hindu ritual with pumping electronic music, the Mumbai Color Festival is an explosion of colour and sound that shows how different cultures can collide to produce something new, powerful and unbelievably fun!

Turn up in light coloured clothing – not your best outfit, but a good canvas for a live-action painting – pick up some bags of dye, and let loose! Cover yourself and everyone else you see with a rich and diverse palette, as your feet get into the groove of some awesome summer tunes.

As the colours start to envelope the whole crowd, the distinctions between rich and poor, privileged and under-privileged, respected and not respected, loved and unloved, begin to disappear.

"We are not all the same, but we are all equal!" is a message and ritual, inspired by the Hindu festival of Lathmar Holi, which will turn Mumbai Color Festival into something unique and amazing, a multi-sensory experience that enables its guests to connect with a significant spiritual rite while also celebrating the modern art of electronic music.

Lush green fields and trees, hemmed in by a historic moat: Fort Vechten is a stunning, natural venue just beyond the centre of Utrecht. Expect two stages, one large one featuring tech and deep house, and one small one featuring house. The city is close enough to visit and for easy travel, but the Fort still feels amazingly remote and a creation of its own microcosm of fun!
