This futuristic utopia hosts EDM biggest names

New Horizons is an EDM and electronic music festival in Nürburg, Germany.

Dubbed 'seven festivals in one', the futuristic utopia merges elements from across the dance music spectrum, seeing over 150 DJs perform in and around one of Germany's most iconic locations: The Nürburgring.

After its maiden voyage in 2017, New Horizons has become one of Europe's most sought-after EDM festivals, with brands like Q-Dance, Armada and HYTE having hosted stages, and Steve Aoki, Marshmello, Hardwell, Tiësto, and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike all having joined the party over the past few years.

With art installations, a range of far-out performers, and a wholesome party vibe, New Horizons has plenty of surprises in store alongside the music.

The 2020 lineup will be announced closer to the festival. The last edition included sets from Martin Garrix, Major Lazer, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Project One, Don Diablo, Timmy Trumpet, Alison Wonderland, REZZ and Vini Vici.

The Nürburgring is one of the most famous locations in Germany. The legendary rock festival Rock am Ring was previously held here, and the Formula 1 World Championship makes a stop once a year.

The Nürburgring is located in west-central Germany, surrounded by many metropolitan areas such as the Ruhr district and the Rhein-Main district. There is no train station nearby, but regular bus services run from nearby towns and cities.
