A jazz institution

North Sea Jazz Festival is one of the most established jazz festivals in the world. Taking place in Rotterdam since 1976, the festival is an institution.

Starting with a bang by welcoming the likes of Miles Davis, Count Basie, and Dizzy Gillespie in its first year, the festival has held a special place in the culture since its inception.

Broadening its horizons over the years, though still very much anchored by jazz, North Sea Jazz Festival annually curates a lineup of creative artists pushing their genres forward.

Lineup

Rotterdam Ahoy is a massive convention centre complex with theatres and extensive grounds throughout which stages are set up. The festival transforms the centre into an mini metropolis.
