One of Portugal's biggest and best

Taking place each July in the western outskirts of Lisbon, NOS Alive is one of Portugal's biggest and best music festivals.

Although others may have been around longer, the festival having started just over a decade ago in the summer of 2007, not many can boast the same pedigree of past performers or impact on a global scale.

And while the lineup is a major reason why music fans come back year after year – with international stars of rock, indie and alternative music accompanied by underground electronic favourites, rappers and more – the festival can also boast an enviable location, situated on the banks of Tagus River in one of Europe's most vibrant cities.
