Oasis Festival is an electronic festival in Marrakech, Morocco. Offering great music in a location like no other, the festival has already carved out a niche for itself despite still being in its infancy
Last year's lineup featured an incredible array of underground house and techno, with icons of the genres coming from all quarters to fill the festival's stages across three days of poolside partying.
A huge part of the appeal is the stunning location; both in terms of the luxury hotel where the partying takes place, and the incredible environs of the North African desert, shadowed by the breathtaking Atlas mountains.
Marrakech (or Marrakesh) is the fifth biggest city in Morocco, though it is the most popular tourist destination in the country. Markets and bazaars fill the streets, while the Atlas mountains provide a stunning backdrop to The Source Hotel.
Marrakech Menara Airport (RAK) is the main airport serving the Marrakech region and should be your first choice when travelling to Marrakech. Once you have landed at the airport, access to the city itself is extremely easy, with the airports taxi station just outside as well as its bus station. Typically, a taxi will cost around 100Dh, while a single bus journey will set you back around 20Dh.
The hotel is a 10-minute drive from the city centre. Shuttle buses will be running between select hotels and the The Source Hotel. The shuttles are free and included in your Oasis festival pass, but you will need to register for the shuttle separately. Registration will open closer to the festival.
Minimum age of entry is 18.
