The largest urban & hip-hop festival in Europe
Every year over 100,000 urban and hip-hop fans descend on Swiss soil for what is now Europe's biggest music festival dedicated to those genres.
Launched in 1985, the festival has witnessed unforgettable performances from hip-hop royalty such as Jay-Z, Kendrick Lamar and Drake in the 14 editions since. Continuing to push to the limits, 2016 will see Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Major Lazer and Wiz Khalifa touch down to perform.
And it's not just superstar names that draw fans each year, with the festival's now infamous nightlife playing a huge part too: from the Fabrik Klub that balances techno with reggae, hip-hop and dancehall, to the Bacardi Dome's commercial soundsystem.
The festival takes place in a meadow called Grosse Allmend in Frauenfeld, the capital city of the canton of Thurgau.
