Openair Frauenfeld is a mammoth hip hop festival set amongst the meadows of Switzerland. With over 100,000 attendees annually, it has become Europe's biggest urban festival and frequently welcomes an array of jaw-dropping acts.
Complimenting the mega day-time lineup is the festival nightlife, which sees popular venues such as the Fabric Klub and Bacardi Dome transformed into celebrations of everything from dancehall to techno.
Previous artists to have performed here include Jay-Z, Drake, Kendrick Lamar, 50 Cent, Wiz Khalifa, Eminem, Outkast, Kanye West, Lil Wayne, Snoop Dogg, Wu-Tang Clan, Nas, Nicki Minaj, ASAP Rocky and countless others.
Grosse Allmend is a large meadow in Frauenfeld. The festival transforms this space annually with all things urban and hip hop.
Zürich Airport is just a half hour train journey from Frauenfeld. The festival will be providing shuttle buses from the station to the festival site from 2pm on Wednesday until 4pm on Sunday. The buses will be free of charge.
The campsite times have no officially been announced yet, however last year all camping sites were open from 8am Thursday to 4pm Sunday. Those who have purchased either a VIP ticket, Early Bird Ticket, X-Mas Ticket, or a 3-Day Pass Plus should be able to access the campsite on Wednesday evening.

The parking area is located next to the festival grounds. From the highway, exit Frauenfeld-West on the A7, and follow the signs to the parking area. The parking grounds open from Wednesday, 4 pm until Sunday, 4 pm. It’s also possible to take the shuttle bus from the main station to the festival grounds.
For the use, provision and organization of the parking area, a parking fee for every vehicle must be paid (CHF 10-40).
