An intimate rural gem
Pete The Monkey is an intimate boutique festival in Saint-Aubin-Sur-Mer, France. Held in picturesque rural Normandy, the festival is a delightfully inclusive and welcoming three day escape from the noise of everyday life, complete with charming decoration, magnificent costumes and a pervasive sense of humour and goodwill.
A not-for-profit endeavour, Pete The Monkey raises money and awareness for a Bolivian monkey sanctuary, after being inspired by a video of the eponymous primate. So you can feel even better about yourself while letting loose in the beautiful French countryside.
The 2018 has not been announced yet. Songhoy Blues, Agar Agar, Étienne de Crécy, Isaac Delusion, Fishbach and more played the last edition.
Just 150m from the beach, the festival site lies in a forest clearing in the Saint-Aubin-Sur-Mer commune in Normandy.
