Emerging music at the heart of Chicago
Pitchfork Music Festival is a celebration of emerging music set in Union Park, Chicago. Each year, it welcomes a refreshing dose of the very best new sounds, along with a sprinkling of popular headliners for good measure.
Renown for having a friendly and exciting atmosphere, as well as marking the entry for many talented musicians into the industry, Pitchfork is the perfect blend of relaxing vibes and electrifying performances.
Previous artists to have performed here include the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Beck, FKA Twigs, Carly Rae Jepsen, CHVRCHES, Chance The Rapper, Caribou, Todd Terje, Jamie xx, Beach House, Future Islands and many more.
The three headliners – A Tribe Called Quest, LCD Soundsystem and Solange – are the only confirmed acts so far.
Last year welcomed the likes of FKA Twigs, Carly Rae Jepsen, Savages, Kamasi Washington, Anderson .Paak and many more.
Union Park is a refreshing, green expanse at the heart of Chicago that is transformed each year into this festival hotspot with stunning cityscape backdrops.

The nearest airport is Chicago Midway Airport (MDW. From here you can take a train towards La Salle/Van Buren and get off at Ashland Lake (10 minutes) before walking to the festival (2 minutes).
BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT:
Union Park is at the heart of Chicago and therefore easy to reach by public modes of transport.
A valid government-issued photo ID is required to purchase alcoholic beverages on the festival grounds. Attendees will need to show their ID to festival security personnel in order to receive a wristband that will allow them to purchase alcohol. Sales of alcohol will end promptly at 9:30 pm. There are NO REFUNDS for unused beverage tickets.
Please keep in mind that there will be absolutely no re-entry into the festival.
Lost and Found is located in the will call trailer on Ashland Avenue. You can pick up lost and found items at Union park for one week after the festival.
All attendees will be searched upon entering the festival grounds. The following items will not be allowed: Tents, flags, lounge chairs, musical instruments, knives or other weapons, video cameras, audio recording devices, professional cameras (NO cameras with detachable lenses), selfie sticks, pets, food, beverages (other than sealed bottled water), drugs or drug paraphernalia.
