Eco-friendly and eclectic entertainment
Pohoda Festival is Slovakia's most foremost music festival, showcasing a multi-genre lineup of contemporary greats at Trenčín Airport.
With rock, pop, indie, hip-hop, classical, and jazz all receiving equal billing, there's ample opportunity to dig deep and find music that caters for a diverse demographic; previous headliners have included Nick Cave, Skepta, St. Vincent, PJ Harvey, The 1975, and Björk which is merely an example of Pohoda Festival's eclectic offerings.
Film screenings, theatre performances, workshops, debates, poetry, and dance competitions run alongside music, yet Pohoda's focus is as much on sustainability as it is entertainment, winning numerous awards year-on-year for it's eco-friendly ideology.
As well as greener living, the family-friendly atmosphere is encouraged, proving there is genuinely something for everyone.

Trenčín airport is transformed into a huge, open-air festival site, as Pohoda brings an array of stages to its runways and hangars.
Trenčín Airport, Legionárska 160, Trenčín, 911 04, Slovakia
Trenčín Airport itself is closed for the festival, so the best one to fly into is Bratislava Airport.
The festival runs shuttle buses to and from the 'Železničná stanica' train station. The bus stop is placed near gate B (from the Nozdrkovce side) and operates on the following route: Gate B (Nozdrkovce) – Biskupice – Električná – Hasičská – Železničná stanica and back.
At night, the service will also run through Juh (town district), stopping on Saratovská street.
Children up to 12 years of age (and including) have free admission to the festival. At the entrance to the festival grounds, every parent and their children will receive a special wristband.
The whole area of the festival is wheelchair accessible. Separate toilets for the disabled are available at the festival, as well as raised platforms in the main open stages – Urpiner Stage and Orange Stage - which are located under the stages. On other stages, users of wheelchairs are allowed to enter the area between the stage and barriers.
