roBOt Festival 08: 2015 marks the eighth edition of Italy’s most progressive and intimate electronic festival. Filling historic Bologna with its own brand of digital creativity, roBOt has been at the forefront of forward-thinking European art since 2008.

Each year’s lineup is curated around music, film and art installations, positioned at the meeting point of computer-based media and human expression.

DJs and producers with worldwide stature – Ricardo Villalobos, James Holden, Craig Richards – turn up in amongst lesser known talents, in unique venues that sum up the cultural richness of Bologna.

Built in 1245, the incredible Palazzo Re Enzo is a huge part of what makes roBOt festival work so well. The Palace is steeped in Italian history, and its halls bring a grandeur and cultural depth to the festival that few other venues could offer.
