Now a permanent fixture in the Czech music calendar, Rock for People has been bringing the top names in rock to the former communist state since 1995.

This June, another 30,000 or so revellers will flock once again to the old unused airport at Hradec Králové to enjoy the summer sun and local beer, washing away those hangovers in the nearby lake.

Past lineups have included royalty such as Biffy Clyro, Arctic Monkeys and Muse, so we can safely expect more great names from the guitar depths that is indie, metal, punk and electro-rock this year round.

Rock for People is renowned for its peaceful, family-friendly vibe that goes beyond the music, featuring a diverse lineup of theatre, workshops, debates and a range of activities such as cycling and geocaching.
