Rock for People is a rock, punk and heavy metal festival held just east of Prague at Hradec Králové airport.

A highlight in the country's festival calendar, and there's no surprise why being one of the Czech Republic's most prestigious music festivals.

The biggest bands that span the rock, punk, and metal genres consistently jet into the Hradec Králové airport each year, including the likes of The Prodigy, Paramore, Die Antwoord, Biffy Clyro, and Arctic Monkeys. Bring Me The Horizon will do the honours of headlining in 2019.

With theatre, discussions and workshop programmes alongside the illustrious artists on show, Rock for People creates the perfect blend of energy with inclusivity, making it a great place for families, groups, and fans of all ages.

Hradec Králové is east of the capital, Prague, and the festival site is old airport. It's  around a 90-minute drive from the centre of Prague.

FAQs

BY PLANE: It is easiest to fly into Prague's international airport, wherefrom you can catch a train or bus from the city itself to the festival town. 

BY TRAIN: Trains from Prague's mainline station, Hlavní Nádraží, leave every hour and take around 90 minutes to reach Hradec Králové. 

BY BUS: Similarly from Prague, you can catch an hourly bus from Černý Most to Hradec Králové, which also takes around an hour and a half. 

Once you have arrived in Hradec Králové, you can take a free shuttle bus onto the festival site. 

Absolutely! Rock for People is an all ages event, and children under ten are allowed in for free.
