Barcelona's culture shaper
Sónar Festival is Barcelona's internationally-acclaimed electronic and progressive music festival.
The Sónar name is built on uncovering and showcasing the movements, artists and technology that is shaping music culture around the world.
The sheer breadth of the musical programme at Sónar is matched only by the variety of artistic exploration it offers, with installations, workshops, talks, debates and seminars all adding to the community journey.
For fans and industry professionals alike, Barcelona in mid-June is an unmissable highlight of the worldwide season.
The lineup has not yet been announced. Last year included Gorillaz, LCD Soundsystem, Diplo, Bonobo and many more.
Venues range from an outdoor plaza and exhibition centre to clubs and bars (and even rooftops) as the festival takes over the beautiful coastal city of Barcelona, on Spain's Costa Brava.
