Sónar Reykjavík is the Icelandic outpost of the global alternative music festival series. With other festivals in Barcelona, Istanbul, Hong Kong, and Bogota, each Sónar is set in a cultural hotspot.

Comprising of showcasing performances and conferences, the festival is about shedding light on creators and innovators outside the mainstream.

Capped at 3,500 attendees and set in the landmark Harpa cultural centre, Sónar Reykjavík annually puts together a lineup highlighting rising national talent, balanced with a curated selection of international artists.

Lineup

The 2020 lineup will be announced closer to the festival.
