A cross-border musical showcase
STIMMEN Festival is a music festival and series of concerts that take place in two cities across the Swiss-German border.
From the cathedral square in Arlesheom to Lörrach's Rosenfels Park, the festival showcases famous names and rising stars from an eclectic range of genres, over the three week series of concerts that the festival comprises.
Rock, pop, folk and jazz are amongst the music on offer and in recent years the festival has featured performances from some of the biggest names in global music, including Bob Dylan, Elton John, Lionel Ritchie, Patti Smith and Sinéad O'Connor.
The festival takes place either side of the Swiss-German border. In Germany, there will be shows in Lörrach's Rosenfels Park and Marketplatz. In Switzerland, the cathedral square in Arlesheim (just south of Basel) will be home the festival.
