2 Locations In India, Bangalore & Mumbai, India
NSCI-SVP Stadium, Lala Lajpatrai Marg, Worli, Mumbai, Maharashtra 400018, India
The NSCI Stadium is towards the southern end of a Mumbai Peninsula, with the city’s Mumbai Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport a little further north. The best options for travelling from there are:
BY TAXI: The journey will take around 25 minutes, depending on traffic – and the thrill-seeking tendencies of your driver. Somewhere between 100 and 120 (€1.2-€1.5) Rupees is probably fair for that distance, though the fee will depend on how much you are willing to negotiate. The initial asking price will definitely be much higher.
BY PUBLIC: If you’re feeling like mixing it with the locals, you’ll need to walk half a kilometre to the Virle Parle train station. From there, a Borivili-Churchgate train towards Churchgate will take you to the Mahalaxmi station. Then, a 154 bus to Nehru Planetroium stop will take you to within a short walk of the stadium. At this point, it will probably be just over 1 hour since you left the airport.
Supernova Arena, Super Nova Arena and Convention Center, Century Avenue, Yelahanka , Airport Road, Bangalore, Karnataka 560030, India
Bangalore Airport is around 1 hour from the Supernova Arena. Just like Mumbai, taxi or bus is your big choice:
BY TAXI: It'll be a journey of about 40 minutes, at a price of roughtly 250 Rupees (just over €3).
BY BUS: Take the BIAS8A service from the Bial stop at the airport, in the direction of BTM (Kevempu Nagar). Get off at the Pallanalli stop, and cross over the road to take the 401-BC bus towards Yelahanka (don’t worry, you’re not going back where you came from – the bus turns left pretty soon). After 6 or 7 minutes you will see the Supernova arena on your left, in the Yelahanka district.
Bengaluru is from 7pm onwards whereas Mumbai is from 6pm onwards.
