A Portuguese favourite

Super Bock Super Rock is one of Portugal's most famous and best loved music festivals. Every summer, the festival invites internationally renowned acts to perform, on a lineup that also consistently includes a wealth of exciting Portuguese talent.

Although the rock, indie and alternative music suggested by the festival's name do still take prominence, recent years have seen the festival diversify further; with the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Travis Scott and Future bringing hip hop stardom to the Portuguese capital in the last few editions.

For the 2019 edition – a 25th anniversary for the Portuguese favourite – the festival heads south along the coast to its former home close to Meco Beach, trading the capital’s city centre for a seaside backdrop and coastal summer flavour for this landmark year.
