The Basics

25-26 October 2014
Prague, Czech Republic

After a sold out 10th anniversary party that blew everything else out of the galaxy, and the first international event just behind them, the Transmission team are back in the O2 Arena in Prague, ready to better it for what will be their biggest festival to date.

With the focus on quality, the Transmission team will turn this gigantic venue into a one-off mega club with special club floor, VIP deck with best views on the show making this a get together few will top in a lifetime.

The hottest names from the progressive house and trance world will blast out to nearly 15,000 hedonistic ravers through a crisp and deafening Funktion One sound system until the sun comes up.

With Europe’s finest behind all the visuals, and an arsenal of lights, lasers, LED screens, fireworks and flames that are bold and bright enough to light up the whole of the Europe, festival-goers might want to bring some a decent camera - and some sunglasses.

Our Recommendations

What We Love

What We Love

  • Listen out for Markus Schulz's latest Transmission anthem. The festival's unofficial resident DJ pens a new hit especially for the show each year.

  • Organisers go all out with the special effects with award-winning VJ team Vision Impossible creating the unique 'Show Movies' that will coincide with the annual theme.

What To Know

What To Know

  • Organisers are allowed to pump the sound systems up to a whopping 105 db, so we recommended ear plugs.

  • The local currency is the Czech Republic Koruna, so make sure you take the right money as Euros, Dollars and Pound Sterling will not be accepted. If you are short of cash, the festival has a ATM in the North Foyer of the arena.

  • Anyone with a Transmission ticket will be able to attend the pre-party taking place in Mecca Club Prague. Full details available here.
