Finland's fastest growing music festival
Hottest Electronic DJs? Check. Insane lights and visuals? Check. The best weekend-long party ever? As if you need to ask.
Weekend Festival is back on the banks of the Vanhankaupunginselkä bay, Helsinki, this August, once again serving up the cream of electronic music - we're talking none other than Hardwell, David Guetta and Armin Van Buuren, and that's just the start.
But Weekend isn't just about the stars, because the festival also has its finger on the Finnish scene's pulse, showcasing national gems of the future alongside those already household names.
In 2012, Weekend Festival moved from the green Luukki forests to the more urban Kyläsaari/Kalasatama in 2013, situated in the harbour on the banks of the Vanhankaupunginselkä bay.
The site has hosted gigs by the likes of Green Day and Foo Fighters over the years, and was even the location for Sonisphere 2011.
Kyläsaari (Kalasatama), Byholmsgatan 12, Helsinki, 00580, Finland
