Welcome To The Future is an electronic paradise to the north of Amsterdam, Holland. Now celebrating its 10th anniversary, it is a haven for house and techno fans, drawing in major names as well as the hottest new talent on the circuit.
The festival boasts stunning surrounding scenery, with lush meadows and forested regions adding a wild-like feeling to the large outdoor stages. When this is coupled with its welcoming and environmentally-friendly vibe, it creates a truly unique delight.
This year features a jaw-dropping array of talent, with headline sets from the likes of AndHim, Apollonia, Hot Since 82, Joran Van Pol, Pan-Pot and The Martinez Brothers amongst others.

Het Twiske is a large green space to the north of Amsterdam. Surrounded by waterways and home to Lake Stooterplas, it is a truly idyllic location considering its proximity to the hustle and bustle of central Amsterdam.

By bike: Het Twiske is located just 9 km North of Amsterdam, and coming by bike will take you 30 to maximum 40 minutes. Take the ferry towards ‘Buiksloterweg’ just behind Amsterdam Central Station. Once across the water, the route to the festival will be marked with signs.
By public transport/shuttle bus: There will be a shuttle bus service from Amsterdam Sloterdijk station to the festival premises and back all day (leaving from the Orly square on the left side of the station). A ticket for the shuttle bus service costs €8, this ticket will take you back and forth. You can buy the ticket on our website (until Friday) or at the event day itself at the bus station at Amsterdam Sloterdijk. The first bus leaves Sloterdijk station at 11:30 AM, the last one will leave the festival premises at 01:00 AM.
By car: The easiest way to get to Het Twiske is via the “Ring West” highway A10 towards Haarlem/Zaanstad. After the Coentunnel, keep left and follow the signs for E22/A8 in direction Zaanstad / Purmerend / Leeuwarden. Take the first exit: 1. Oostzaan / Zaandam-zuid / Het Twiske. Keep left and always follow the sings in direction ‘Het Twiske’.
Parking tickets are available via our website for €19 (until Friday before the event) or at the parking itself on July 23rd for €20. Want to use your GPS? Enter: Pikpotweg, 1511 Oostzaan as destination.
The festival is open on Saturday July 23rd 2016, from 12:00 to 24:00. You won’t be able to access the festival terrain after 22hrs.
Water belongs to everyone! Chilled and straight from the tap, fresh tapwater is served all day long, and for free. Refill your waterbag at the special waterbars!
The festival will provide plenty of lockers for everyone! These lockers can easily be shared: there’s room for about 3 coats in one locker.
You’re allowed to bring your (digital) camera to the festival. Professional audiovisual equipment is not allowed. Selfiesticks are allowed, provided that they are foldable and no bigger than 1 meter.

All 7 stages will be accessible to wheelchairs. The festival's security and bar personnel will be there to assist you if help is needed.
In case of rain, ponchos will be provided free of charge. It is, however, recommended that you check the weather forecast in advance, to pick the right festival outfit. You are allowed to take small foldable umbrellas (with a blunt tip).
