BY TRAIN: Cheltenham is well connected to most major cities in the UK. Buses regularly run from Cheltenham Spa rail station to the race-course.

BY PLANE: Birmingham Airport and Bristol airport are roughly equidistant from Cheltenham racecourse.

FROM BIRMINGHAM AIRPORT: Trains depart every 10 minutes into Birmingham New Street train station (a 10 minute journey costing about £3). From there, trains to Cheltenham Spa depart every 20 minutes and take 40 minutes to arrive. The fare is around £15.

FROM BRISTOL AIRPORT: Buses run regularly between Bristol Airport and Bristol Temple Meads rail station. From there trains regularly run to Cheltenham Spa, a 40 minute journey costing roughly £9.

Children aged 4 and under enter for free, but you must still book a ticket for them in advance.
