A Sicilian hill-top wonder
Ypsigrock Festival is an alternative music festival in the quaint, hill-top town Castelbuono, Sicily. With the festival celebrating its 23rd edition in 2019, the festival has a place in the charming town's heritage as strong as the stones in its castle.
Indeed, as the town's name suggests, the castle and its main square make the festival's focus point, though along with its courtyards and piazzas, all of the festival's stages boast a historic beauty.
But as well as its enchanting location, Ypsigrock continually draws impressively alternative lineups. Previous artists have included Beach House, Digitalism, Jesus and Mary Chain, Erol Alkan and Editors.
If a festival in a unique setting with and indie and electronic focus is your thing, Ypsigrock is the one for you.
