Croatia via Ibiza – the newest Rocks festival makes its bow
After 10 unique years combining indie and electronic music, live bands and DJs in gorgeous Mediterranean surroundings, Ibiza Rocks is ready to bring its ground-breaking brand to the most beautiful sands on the Adriatic.
Croatia’s Zrce beach on the Island of Pag has become renowned as the new Ibiza, so the arrival of one of the Spanish island’s most established and eclectic music names seems as natural as it is welcome.
For 5 days and 5 nights of DJs and live music across club, beach and boat venues, Croatia Rocks will bring its own twist to the clubbing capital of south-eastern Europe, stacking up a diverse musical history against stunning scenery and intense summer crowds. If its Ibiza and Mallorca predecessors are anything to go by, Croatia Rocks is gonna be one of the very best festivals of the summer.

There are two options if you're flying in: Zadar airport is the closest, but is smaller than the international airport at Split, further south down the coast.
FROM ZADAR AIRPORT: Taking the bus from the airport into Zadar itself, and then on to Novalja, is probably your best option. Buses leave the airport every hour for the 20-minute journey into town, and the fare is €3. Buses to Novalja leave about 5 times a day, though this can vary throughout the season. It takes about 1 hour 30 minutes and costs approx. €6.
FROM SPLIT AIRPORT: To save you going east into Split only to go back westwards, a good option from Split airport is to take a taxi into Trogir (€25-30 for a 4-8 person vehicle). From there, buses to Zadar leave frequently in the summer and take about 2 hours 40 minutes, at a cost of about €12-19. From Zadar, the buses to Novalja are as above: roughly 5 per day for a 1 hour 30 minute journey, at about €6.
Yes, you must be 18 to go to Croatia Rocks.
