Electric Sea Festival is a German dance music festival held in the northern city of Rostock. Organised by the team behind Airbeat One, the winter festival is party to reduce the waiting time between editions of the summer giant.
As such, Electric Sea shares a similar level of commitment to showcasing lineups of top-end dance music DJs and performers, whilst combining their shows with the trademark production values, from lighting and pyrotechnics to immaculate sound systems.
The lineup for 2018 has not been announced yet. Vini Vici, Danny Avila, Gestört aber GeiL and many more played the last edition.
HanseMesse is an exhibition centre in Rostock, and is used for a variety of events throughout the year.
If you are flying to the festival, the nearest international airport is Hamburg. From the city, you can get a direct train out to Rostock, which will take around 2 and a half hours.
Alternatively, Rostock is accessible by rail from the rest of Germany and neighbouring Europe.
Once in the city, the nearest station to HanseMesse is Rostock-Lütten Klein, which is around a 20 minute walk from the venue.
