Firefly Music Festival is a multi-genre festival in Dover, USA. Annually putting together a lineup of the biggest names in music, the festival is one of the best in America.
Taking place in the scenic woodlands of Delaware, Firefly is more than just a music festival, it's an entire pop up city, featuring arts of all varieties, markets, areas to explore and even its own brewery.
Heading into its seventh year, the festival prides itself on being sustainable and environmentally friendly, offsetting its carbon footprint each year as well as raising awareness for a number of charities.
The festival takes place in the woodlands close to Dover International Speedway. Each year they are transformed into a stunning festival site through the addition of seven stages, huge campsites and all manner of bars and food vendors.
BY PLANE: The closest major airport is Philadelphia, from there you can reach Dover by bus via Chester and Wilmington. There are also several smaller regional airports relatively close to Dover, including Wilmington Airport and the Wicomico Regional Airport in Salisbury.
BY BUS: In previous years the festival has run special bus services to the site from various cities, including New York, Newark, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washington and Wilmington.
