The French capital's best alternative festival
Pitchfork Music Festival Paris creates a unique festival experience in the heart of the French capital. As the European brother of Pitchfork magazine's Chicago original, this intimate showcase of international, independent and underground artists is known for its experience-drenched expertise.
The festival takes in a broad sweep of styles, all the way from tight techno and experimental house to acoustic pop and even a slice of pure rock.
Clocking up its fifth year in 2015, Pitchfork Paris is set for another great autumn weekend at a hand-picked venue in central Paris.

The prestigious Grande Halle De La Villette hosts many concerts, festivals, trade fairs and cultural exhibitions throughout the year. The huge hall is a former slaughterhouse, now converted into one of the coolest locations in Paris.
Grande Halle de La Villette, 211 Avenue Jean Jaurès, Paris, 75019, France
Charles de Gaulle Airport is very near to the centre of Paris, and is the closest International airport.
From there, it makes sense to buy a Paris Metro Pass for Zones 1-5, which will cost about €35 for a 1 day pass. RER B Trains run depart regularly from Terminals 1 and 2 at Charles de Gaulle, taking 25-30 minutes to reach Gare du Nord.
From Gare du Nord, a Metro M5 line takes 14 minutes to the Porte de Pantin station. The Parc de la Villette is on the north side of the main road, best reached by the Avenue Jean Jaurès exit from the station.
More details will be released soon.
Unfortunately, due to scheduling conflict, Björk has had to cancel her Summer and Autumn tour and will therefore no longer be performing at Pitchfork Paris. The festival has agreed to refund day tickets for Friday 30th October. If you wish to refund your ticket, you will need to contact your ticket supplier by the 27th August. 3-day passes are non-refundable.
