50 years of musical celebration

New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival is multi-genre music festival in Louisiana's biggest city. One of the most revered in the world, the festival should be on any serious music fan's bucket list.

Celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, New Orleans Jazz Fest was born when Mahalia Jackson and Duke Ellington spontaneously started singing along as the Eureka Brass Band walked through the Louisiana Heritage Festival. Out of that moment of pure musicality grew one of the foundational and longest running festivals there is.

Welcoming roughly 500,000 music fans every year, the festival annually curates a lineup of some of the most influential acts of the last half century.

This year the likes of The Rolling Stones, Chris Stapleton, Katy Perry, Santana, and Dave Matthews will grace the festival's illustrious main stage, to name but a few.
