As the summer festival season comes to a close, it's time to turn our attention indoors this autumn and winter. And as usual, we're spoilt for choice.
Here are just ten great one day/night festivals and events to get you moving before the year's out.
Headliners: Aphex Twin, Mura Masa, Skepta, Flume
The UK's best-known electronic and urban music series has been making Manchester its own for over ten years.
Running from September through till January, WHP team up with a host of clubbing brands and artists to curate a lineup of nights that pushes the boundaries of the UK's music scene.
This year's series will their first inside the 10,000 capacity Mayfield Depot.

Uniting Halloween and hardstyle to devastating effect, Pumpkin decks out the imposing halls of Oberhausen's Turbinenhalle with all sorts of spooky shenanigans, including some of the biggest hardstyle, hardcore, rawstyle and uptempo artists.

Amsterdam Dance Event & Amsterdam Music Festival
Headliners: Martin Garrix, Bonobo, Orbital, Marcel Dettmann, Modeselektor
Any electronic music fan should know about ADE. Every October, Amsterdam becomes abuzz with artists, brands, industry players and keen music fans for a week of parties, discussions and conferences inside spaces across the city.
The week also includes AMF, a huge house and EDM party at the city's ArenA that showcases only the very biggest stars of the genres, such as David Guetta, Armin van Buuren, Hardwell and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike.

Printworks opens up its doors to yet another thrilling series from September through to December this year.
Teaming up with some of the capital's and beyond's most popular clubbing brands (The Hydra, Afterlife, Bugged Out!), the series will once again be showcasing innovative names in house, techno and more inside the cavernous former printing factory.

MAYDAY have shaped themselves a reputation as one of Europe's most imposing techno brands, putting on parties across the continent.
This November they return to Poland with another top-tier lineup who'll play out under MAYDAY's classically overwhelming production.

Tomorrowland Garden of Madness at Creamfields Steel Yard
Headliners (2018): Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Disciples, Oliver Heldens, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano
Tomorrowland and Creamfields, two of the world's biggest electronic music brands, come together this December in Liverpool to present Garden of Madness.
Showcased inside the imposing Creamfields Steel Yard – a 20m high, 15,000 capacity structure – the concept is the work of legendary EDM duo Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike.
They were joined inside the unique venue by a 2018 lineup of top-tier names in big-room house, including Disciples, Oliver Heldens and Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano.

In:Motion returns to Bristol this autumn and winter for a 13-week long series of nights with some of electronic music's most cutting edge promoters, labels and artists.
Artists performing across the series include Annie Mac, Pan-Pot, Sven Väth, Mr. Scruff, Paul Oakenfold and Four Tet.

I Love Techno Europe
Headliners (2018): Charlotte de Witte, Dixon, Solomun, Laurent Garnier
I Love Techno have been throwing an annual party for over two decades now, which means they definitely know how it's done.
Curating a lineup of the most innovative artists in techno, including a sprinkle of other electronic genres too, the December night in Montpellier has become a mecca for techno fans.

SEMF – Stuttgart Electronic Music Festival
Headliners (2018): Charlotte de Witte, Chris Liebing, Joseph Capriati, Len Faki
Held inside the city's enormous trade and exhibition centre Messe Stuttgart, SEMF has now been throwing its legendary raves for over ten years.
And that shows the dedication that SEMF has to electronic music, giving its platform to not just the grandparent figures in techno, but also underground artists yet to be fully discovered.
