When & Where: 6-8 July 2018, Figueira da Foz
#7 NEOPOP Electronic Festival
Headliners: Nina Kraviz, Ben Klock, Jeff Mills, Ricardo Villalobos
Having been once known as AntiPop, it's no surprise that NeoPop fixes it spotlight firmly on underground house and techno.
Now the country's most celebrated electronic music festival, expect only the most innovative and genre-pushing names at the historic and charming port town of Viana do Castelo.
When & Where: 8-11 August 2018, Viana do Castelo
#6 Vodafone Paredes de Coura
Headliners: Arcade Fire, Fleet Foxes, Skepta
Kick back riverside, or even jump on your inflatable dinghy when you're not listening to Vodafone Paredes de Coura's indie-filled lineup.
Set inside the idyllic woodland of Praia do Taboão, this has to be one of Europe's most unique, and most relaxing festival locations. And we haven't even mentioned the top-drawer lineup yet...
When & Where: 15-18 August 2018, Paredes de Coura
#5 MEO Sudoeste
Headliners: Marshmello, Hardwell, Shawn Mendes, Lil Pump
Only the best and biggest in EDM, pop and rap touchdown on Herdade da Casa Branca for five days of high-adrenaline partying.

The European edition of one of the world's most famous music festivals only comes around every 2 years, but when it does the organisers know how to make up for lost time. With bona fide megastars topping the bill and a huge effort put into creating a magical environment, the festival is one of Europe's best.
When & Where: 23-24 & 29-30 June, Lisbon
#2 NOS Primavera Sound
Headliners: Lorde, A$AP Rocky, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Tyler, The Creator
The Portuguese sister of Spain's revered indie festival, NOS Primavera draws from the same pool of artists, but invites them to a more stripped back, intimate setting – the country's largest urban park.
Straddling between city and sea, NOS' blissful retreat is the perfect antidote for those wanting the musical taste of Primavera Sound, but don't fancy the sprawling metropolis that is Barcelona's Parc del Fòrum.

Packing in an ultimate lineup and a kickass location, NOS Alive really does have it all.

Also, just ten minutes away from from some of Europe's best beaches and surfing spots, NOS Alive has become much more than just a music festival.
