If there's one thing Austria has in abundance, then it's incredible ski resorts. But not only are these slopes a haven for keen snowboarders and skiers, they're also home to some great music festivals, bringing a diverse mix of music to their pistes for days of slopeside partying.
Here's our roundup of just five of our favourite Austrian snowsports music festivals.

Showcasing a diverse lineup that covers house, drum and bass, grime and more, Snowbombing does so across slopeside stages, igloo raves, street parties and enchanted forests, while also turning the après ski vibe up to the max.
And when you factor in Mayrhofen's world class pistes, it's easy to see why Snowbombing has fast become dubbed "Europe's greatest show on snow."

Making the most of its resort's extensive slopes, BERGFESTival gives festival-goers the opportunity to ride the snow by day and enjoy its eclectic mix of international musicians as the sun goes down.

Rave on Snow
Festival lineup: Pan-Pot, AKA AKA, Felix Kröcher, Matthias Tanzmann, Format:B, Marek Hemmann
Held at Saalbach-Hinterglemm a week after BERGFESTival, Rave on Snow is the turn of the dance fans. Now almost 25 years old, the festival has become one of Europe's most popular winter parties, each December inviting some of house and techno's finest names for a few days of mountain-side partying at the stunning resort.

WOW Glacier Love Festival
Festival lineup (2019): Vini Vici, Ruben de Ronde, Esh, Levex
WOW Glacier Love is all about bassy beats as they kickstart the winter season at the Kaprun resort with a dance lineup that featured trance icons Vini Vici in 2019.

Conquer the Alps
Festival lineup (2019): Samy Deluxe, Paul Kalkbrenner
The white mountains of Axamer Lizum Ski Resort become an extreme sports haven, challenging lovers of snowsports to quite literally, conquer the alps, as they engage with a series of puzzles and sporting challenges, with points on offer and hidden secrets to be revealed.
By night, the city of Innsbruck comes alive as it wide selection of clubs, bars and cafes buzz until the early hours.
