Boothstock Festival 2020

Boothstock Festival 2020

Rotterdam, Netherlands

Boothstock Festival is an electronic music festival held in the historic city of Rotterdam, arguably one of the European birthplaces of modern techno and house music. Since 2012, Boothstock have been creating festivals for the DJs, allowing them to experiment and reinsure themselves with the organic sound of underground electronic music.

This firm focus on the DJs allows them to build on their technical prowess, experiment and really investigate the danceability throughout techno, house, and other forms of electronic music. Across five stages, the one-day event provides an intense collection of artists who have used their respective careers to push the boundaries of modern dance music, sharing them with the audience.

Among those on the lineup for the forthcoming instalment are Joris Voorn, Bart Skills, Speedy J, Franky Rizardo and Monika Kruse, with many more taking to the festival's impressive stages on Saturday 13 June. See the full lineup here.

Held in the beautiful Kralingse Bos, just over ten minutes by car from central Rotterdam, the space consists of a beautiful open grassy area with lush green trees and a beach-fronted lake. Even though the festival is accessible by road and train, Boothstock's organisers are encouraging their guests to arrive in a more eco-friendly fashion, providing bike racks to limit the festival's environmental impact.

With tickets selling fast, Boothstock is quickly becoming one of the most sought after festivals on the calendar, providing intense lineups across incredible music across an array of stages. A true celebration of DJ craft, it is an excellent opportunity to step into the world of dance music culture and experience it in it’ most raw and organic form.
