Heading to Croatia next week for Hideout 2018? If so, here's everything you need to know to get the best out of your festival.
How do I get from the airport to the festival?
Depending on which airport you're flying to – Zadar, Split, Pula, Zagreb, or others – avoid expensive taxis and board one of the Hideout shuttles to get you straight from the airport to the festival.
Journeys cost as little as £20 each way and can be booked in advance from the festival's website.
Which clubs does it take place in?
Hideout hits Novalja's (or Zrće Beach's) four major clubs: Papaya, Noa, Kalypso and Aquarius. All are in the top half of DJ Mag's Top 100 clubs list, with Papaya taking a spot at number 6, ahead of Pacha, Amnesia and DC-10.
Over 150 artists spanning house, drum and bass, grime and garage. Bicep, Chase & Status, Andy C, AJ Tracey and DJ EZ are just the tip of the iceberg.
And what about the beach, boat and pool parties?
DJ EZ heads up the Welcome to Hideout Beach Party, while setting sail will be the likes of Skream, Hannah Wants and Mall Grab. Taking a dip in each club's pools will be Jamie Jones, Flava D, Jeremy Underground and many more.
Any water sports or other activities to get involved in?
100%. In addition to the festival, Zrće Beach is full of activities for both adrenaline junkies and those looking to nurse that hangover.
Just some of those on offer include banana boats, pedalos, jet skis, quad biking and even bungee jumping.
What about the best places to eat?
I hope you like seafood. If so, you'll be in heaven as many of the restaurants specialise in it. However, you'll still be able to dine on some decent meat, salads or veggie plates too.
And if you fancy a bit of luxury, the festival recommends taking a short taxi to Hotel Bosniak.
How do I get to the festival from my accommodation?
Hideout will be running a dedicated festival shuttle bus 24/7 that services eight towns on five lines. These will run from the following locations: Novalja, Stara Novalja, Caska, Gajac, Vidalici, Kustici, Zubovici and Metajna to Zrce Beach
Hideout Festival will take place on 25-29 June 2018. Find out more on our guide.
