It's fitting that Let It Roll festival is based at the ex-military Milovice Airfield, as the sheer force of vibrations created by the long list of numerous drum & bass artists is enough to send the entire crowd skywards.
Year after year, the festival continually raises the benchmark for drum & bass events, with consistent top-quality lineups, and equally monumental visual production to the amazement of their loyal festival fanatics.
This is no doubt the reason that Let It Roll has garnered the title for being the world's biggest and best drum & bass festival, reaping the rewards for it's ambition to be the genres' equivalent to Glastonbury.
Now in it's 15th year, 2018's edition looks set to trump previous outings, and here's why.
A stellar lineup
With over 300 DJ's and producers spread across 9 stages, this year's lineup is not only vast, but also saturated in world-class talent.
With highly-anticipated sets from drum & bass heavyweights such as Andy C, Netsky (below), and Pendulum, there's also plenty of artists of all D&B sub-genres to sink into. Whoever said you can have too much of a good thing?
Show-stopping opening ceremony
The festival organisers have promised that the upcoming opening ceremony will reach new heights of both sound and visual production, with there now being three separate 'acts' curated by an assortment of renowned producers.
If the production is any more outlandish than last year, it's surely going to be a sight to behold. Take a look at the 2017 opening ceremony below.
New location, and new stages
With over 20,000 drum & bass revellers expected this year, the organisers have had a re-shuffle within the Milovice Airfield; meaning more space for newer and bigger stages, and more music to lose yourself to. Win/win.
17 different D&B labels
A variety of the world's best drum & bass labels will congregate at the festival, introducing their own showcases and illustrating why they're regarded as the finest group of labels worldwide – signing emerging talents within the scene as well as future headliners.
