With less than 50 days to go till Amsterdam Dance Event 2019 officially begins it's high time we started digging into what's on offer at this year's festivities.
There are more artists, shows, workshops, and talks than you could possibly get to, so doing a little research into what you want to see and do is a must.
Lineup: David Guetta, W&W, Armin van Buuren, Tiësto, Alesso, Timmy Trumpet, Jonas Blue
Every year AMF puts together ADE's biggest lineup. Having teamed up with DJ Mag years ago, the event is not only a celebration of dance music, but also the platform for the influential magazine to announce the results of their annual Top 100 DJ poll. Simply put there is nothing else like it at Amsterdam Dance Event.
When & Where: 19 October, Johan Cruijff ArenA
Our Story – 15 Years Tomorrowland
Lineup: Afrojack, Armin van Buuren, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Goose, Netsky, Steve Aoki, The Bloody Beetroots, Tiësto
Anything Tomorrowland does is instantly newsworthy, but coming to ADE is probably the most intriguing the festival has done to celebrate its 15th anniversary in 2019. Taking over the Ziggo Dome, the kings of EDM have curated a typically bombastic lineup for its two days in the Dutch capital.
When & Where: 17-18 October, Ziggo Dome
RAI Amsterdam Martin Garrix
Lineup: Martin Garrix
For the fifth year in a row the World's Number One DJ is having a two night stand at ADE. As has become tradition, Friday night will be an all night, 18+ affair while Saturday opens the doors to music fans of all ages and things get started earlier (17:00). The only place to catch the affable Martin Garrix at ADE this year, you know the place will be bumping.
When & Where: 18-19 October, RAI Amsterdam
Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano - Exposed
Lineup: Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano
This one has the makings of a classic ADE experience. Hometown heroes Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano are going to debut their brand new live show at the AFAS Live which happens to boast one of the best sound systems in the country. Taking it back to the glory days of electronic music, the duo are stripping back their stage production to bring the focus squarely onto the music and the connection with the audience.
When & Where: 18 October, AFAS Live
DGTL Ben Klock B2B Marcel Dettmann
Lineup: Ben Klock B2B Marcel Dettmann, Helena Hauff, Jeff Mills, DJ Nobu, Jane Fitz, Identified Patient
This special B2B from two of techno's leading lights would be enough to make this a must see show, but that's not how ADE works. At ADE promoters go above and beyond to curate mind-boggling nights for your enjoyment and that's exactly what DGTL has done here with the addition of one of the most popular leaders of the new school in Helena Hauff and one of the most influential techno acts of all time in Jeff Mills.
When & Where: 17 October, NDSM Warehouse
