TRNSMT Festival 2020

TRNSMT Festival 2020

Glasgow, United Kingdom

As we're now just a week away from this year's TRNSMT Festival, we decided it was time to bring you our go-to guide for everything you need to know about the Scottish giant.

How do I get there?

If you are flying to Glasgow, the city centre is just a 15 minute bus ride away.

Alternatively, the city is easily accessible by rail, with direct services running from as far south as London.

Once in the city, Glasgow Green can be accessed by Buchanan Bus Station, which is around a twenty-minute walk. First Bus services 18, 43, 64, and 263 all stop within a five-minute walk to Glasgow Green.

There is no dedicated car park for the festival, therefore you will need to find a parking space locally. We advise against driving close to the festival.

What's the weather forecast?

Lots can change in a week, but right now BBC Weather is saying it'll be a cloudy, but dry weekend with highs of 20 degrees.

Who should I definitely see?

Man of the moment Stormzy has to be top of our list. Fresh off the back of his incredible Glastonbury headline set, we're sure the grime MC will be raring to pick up where he left off.

Beyond Stormzy, you're spoilt for choice across the weekend. There's Scottish favourite Lewis Capaldi, guitar-crooner George Ezra and indie-poppers Bastille to name just three.

Are there any afterparties?

Yep, those wishing to continue the party are in good hands. Choose from DJ sets from the likes of The Hunna, Bastille and The Amazons at The Garage, Cathouse, West on the Green and King Tut's Wah Wah Hut.

Is there a map of the site?

You bet there is!

What else can I do while I'm in Glasgow?

There's loads you can check out while you're away from the festival. Beer lovers will be in paradise, with many of the city's breweries operating their own on-site gastro-pubs, serving up their finest beers and pub delights. WEST Brewery, Clockwork Beer Co. and Drygate are just three worth checking out.

Or for something a little different, why not take a stroll and explore the city's Public Art Trail and Street Mural Trail.

Can I still get tickets?

You can, but you'll need to hurry as they're close to selling out. You can book your tickets or accommodation packages here.
