Billed as a "four day festival of howling spirits and curious minds", Beat Hotel returns to Marrakech's luxury Fellah Hotel next March.
Having started as an immersive stage at Glastonbury Festival, the brand decided it was time to up-sticks and take the show abroad, settling on Morocco for its debut festival experience in 2019.
And after an acclaimed first edition, the festival has confirmed it'll be back in 2020. And if you're not familiar already, here are just five reasons why Beat Hotel should be your next festival destination.
Party to its genre-spanning lineup
2020's alternative lineup will feature a live set from Floating Points, as well as performances from Kate Tempest, Kindness and John Talabot across poolside sessions, sunset live shows and late night villa parties.
Open up your mind
Running alongside the music will be a programme of talks, films and workshops with musicians, artists and authors, bringing together ideas and voices from all reaches of the globe.
Dine on a menu of diversionary delicacies
Foodies will also be in gastro-heaven at Beat Hotel with bites, barbecues and banquets from a whole host of national and international chefs covering every cuisine imaginable.
Relax and recharge
There's also the chance to take a break from the party and slow things right down at one of the numerous wellness sessions running throughout the resort's grounds, perfect for recharging those batteries.
Explore the nearby buzz of Marrakech, or the tranquility of the Atlas Mountains
There aren't many festivals located in such a unique and incredible setting as Beat Hotel. In the plains beneath the Atlas Mountains and just a few miles from the thrill of Marrakech, festival-goers have two of Africa's most eye-catching destinations on their doorstep... that is if they find the time to take themselves away from the festival.
