Bali is likely to be high up on anyone's travel bucket list, but did you know the Indonesian island-hotspot is also home one heck of a music festival? Let us introduce you to Sunny Side Up Tropical Festival, which has been bringing incredible lineups to the Island of the Gods for over five years.
Here are just a few reasons why Sunny Side Up should be your next festival destination.
The incredible lineup
Heading up this year's lineup at the seafront Manarai Beach House will be Australian producer Flume, who has shot to fame thanks to a succession of remixes for stars such as Lorde, Disclosure and Sam Smith, as well as scooping a Grammy Award for his second album. This will also be his first ever live set in Indonesia.
Joining him will be the inspiring TOKiMONSTA, as well as BBC Sound of 2019 favourite Grace Carter.
After years at Potato Head Beach Club, 2019 sees Sunny Side Up head to a new home at Manarai Beach House in Nusa Dua. The club only opened last year, but has since hosted the likes of A$AP Rocky and Elrow, making it the perfect home for Sunny Side Up.
Blending both traditional Balinese craftsmanship and a contemporary modern style, Manarai Beach House presents a seamless space that features restaurants, an outdoor lounge, pools and eventually leads out to the beach...
And when you reach those beaches boy will you not be disappointed. The pristine beach front is a scene of white sand and warm, blue water.
To be honest this one goes without saying – July and August are peak season on the Island of the Gods.
And finally, you're in Bali
Rich in culture and diverse in flavour, you're not going to find many more unique festival settings than Bali. There's a reason why it's become one of Asia's most popular tourist destinations, and the perfect excuse to turn your Sunny Side Up Festival experience into a sunny side holiday.
