Although Spring Break USA may seem like a far-off utopia, we're no doubt all familiar with the images of red cups and wild parties.
But what about us Europeans? Yes, we may have hedonistic parties filled with debauchery, but do they really compare to those in the US? It's time to ponder no more, because we think we may have found just the answer: Zrće Spring Break Europe.
Held on Zrće beach, the continent's number one party hotspot, expect all the elements of a classic spring break party. But there's one key difference: Zrće Spring Break Europe isn't just a party, it's a festival.
Spanning four days, the dance festival takes over some of the beach's best clubs for poolside parties, boat blowouts and all-night raves. Its crowd? A vibrant mix of German, French, Austrian and even Canadian.
2017's edition will be headlined by Dutch hardstyle DJ Brennan Heart, while recent years have featured the likes of DJs from Mars and Yves V inside some of the beach's best clubs such as Kalypso and Papaya, keeping the dance party going till 5am each morning.
And Novalja, the town that Zrće beach calls home, is also brimming with shops, bars, restaurants and nightlife if you fancy escaping from the action for a bit and recharging those batteries with a touch of local cuisine, or simply kicking back on one of its quieter beaches.
Coming together at the start of June, Zrće Spring Break Europe is the perfect opportunity to kick start your summer on Croatia's alternative, and more affordable answer to Ibiza.
