They join Charli XCX, AURORA and 2manydjs on the festival's closing evening, following the likes of Skepta and Mura Masa on Thursday, and Chromatics, Belle and Sebastian and Primal Scream on Friday.
Also performing are the likes of Hamza, SebastiAn Nilüfer Yanya, Chai, slowthai, Ezra Collective, Jessica Pratt, Barrie and Orville Peck. See the full list as it stands below.
The surprise follows The 1975's recent announcement of a short US tour in November and December, where they will also begin writing their forthcoming record, which is reportedly already titled Notes on a Conditional Form.
Pitchfork Music Festival Paris began in 2011 as the European contingent of Pitchfork Music Festival, held annually in Chicago. This year the festival takes place from 31 Oct – 2 Nov at Grande Halle de la Villette. Weekend, day tickets and packages are available now.
